DESCRIPTION

The GeyserTECH+ Pi²R is an innovative new technology that feeds your existing electrical geyser with two power sources i.e. AC grid power and DC PV Solar power. There is no need for backup batteries as the energy generated from Photovoltaic Solar Panels is fed directly into the geyser and stored inside the geyser as heat energy.

The GeyserTECH+ Pi²R converts the current from the PV solar modules to a modified wave which can be connected directly to the existing standard thermostat and element. This modified wave form enables the thermostat to switch power on and off as if it were normal AC power. There is no need to replace the element or thermostat.

The GeyserTECH+ Pi²R iX is the larger of the two available Pi²R models and can be paired with the optional Digital Touchscreen Display or with an AC-connected geyser timer or used completely Off-Grid. 

Whenever DC Solar power is available, it will be made available to the unit. A geyser timer is used to limit availability of AC power to the unit so as to further aid in reducing AC power consumption. The optional Digital  Touchscreen Display takes the place of a geyser timer and allows you to control multiple on/off functions as well as set independent temperatures for heating by AC and by DC Solar. The Digital Touchscreen Display is available in two versions, one with WiFi and one without. The version with WiFi can connect to the internet or your mobile device for remote monitoring and control via the Telemetric Web App.
